“Era Motorsport was initially set up because of my love of historic race cars. As long as I can remember, I have been passionate about vintage racing, specifically 70’s to mid 90’s sports cars and open wheel cars. I can’t tell you why, but there has always been a draw. The more I drive them and the longer I spend in the paddock the more I love them! The fact that they have to be driven with flair and bravery, and that driver skill makes a bigger difference than in modern race cars, all add to the allure. My goals and aspirations for the company are simple: to make Era Motorsport the market leader for all of your historic motorsport needs.”

Founder Kyle Tilley has been involved in motorsport since before he could walk, something which adds to the value of his coaching and overall wealth of knowledge. His background began in open wheel racing before switching over to prototype and GT cars circa 2010. From there, his career spanned the continent of Europe before making the jump to America in 2013 after an offer to compete in Grand Am. Though nothing long term came of that, he decided to stick it out and build his coaching business, something which in turn has lead him to competing in both IMSA and Pirelli World Challenge over the past few years. It is this experience as a driver that sets Era Motorsport apart. Kyle has driven for some fantastic teams and some not so great teams. Each was a learning experience and taught him something new, something which he is able to apply to the services offered by Era Motorsport.

At the time of inception, Era Motorsport’s sole purpose was to provide an unrivaled Driver Development service for Vintage and Historic racers. However, that now has evolved into so much more. In addition to unparalleled coaching aimed at helping drivers excel, Era Motorsport has expanded to include professional racing in IMSA, ELMS and Asian Le Mans Series, detailed race car chassis analysis, race car restoration and preparation, transport, storage, vehicle acquisition and more!

Professional race car driver excelling in car and driver development. Founder of Era Motorsport, he is passionate about the sport. He will drive anything with wheels and an engine, anywhere in the world.
